Environment friendly initiatives at the new production site in Jhagadia.

 

 

 Few Facts:

 

• A 4.5 MW Co-generation plant will be put up to generate 3 MW of electricity and 12 tons of steam per hour at an economical rate.

 

• It is a Gas Turbine based Co-generation plant with a requirement of 1600 standard cubic meter of Natural Gas per hour which will be supplied via pipeline.

 

•  Jhagadia facility will be one among many plants in India to run the production on Natural Gas.

 

• Makes the facility eligible for Carbon Credit because CO2 emitted from combustion of Natural Gas is less than half of conventional fuel e.g. Coal
